Eigen frequencies control

The software ITASONIC, developed by TQM Itaca Technology can control Eigen frequencies on any type of parts. It can be easily integrated on automatic control systems.

The Eigen frequencies can be controlled on rough or machined parts.

An example of integration on different controls on machined parts is represented by the control bench for brake disc and drum:

• Station 1: geometrical and dimensional inspection with the software Itageo 6;
• Station 2: Eigen frequencies control with sonic inspection and software Itasonic;
• If both inspections give positive results, a serial number is generated;
• Station 3: marking of only the good parts (the marking station can be integrated in the second control station).

The data coming from the dimensional and frequencies controls, associated to the serial number generated and printed on the disc, are saved on the Itastat 6 database: the complete traceability on the produced parts is granted.

Station 1: 100% in line dimensional control

Stations 2 and 3: 100% in line Eigen frequency control and marking station.
